The Decision to Spend an Evening with Avril Lavigne If I had to choose to spend an evening with any one person, I would choose Avril Lavigne. I would choose this young singer because she has an incredible voice and she is constantly very successful. Avril’s hard work allows me to relate to her on a more personal level. Her songs contain a rhythmical tune that catches the attention of listeners. Just take one listen to her new CD. Her songs range from complicated lifestyles to losing grip of everything in life. Avril Lavigne’s personality reminds me of myself. Both Avril and I represent the same levels of strength and ambitions. While we spend the evening together, Avril and I would begin by pursuing every skater boy in town. While skate boarding around town, she and I would make sure to keep an eye out for the boys. We would make sure to hit the ramps as well. After boy scoping, Avril and I would go to a punk show. I would take her to the show and introduce her to my favorite band, Sock Full of Pennyz. We would spend the night dancing to their music. Avril and I would then hang out with a bunch of my friends. My friends love her as much as I do, and I would love to share the opportunity to hang out with Avril Lavigne with my them. We would hang out at someone’s house, most likely my best friend Tabitha's. Avril and I would discuss all the different aspects of her music. She would explain the events that influenced the writing of her music. Then I would talk to her about her lyrics and the feelings that invoked them. Avril and I would probably sing together a few songs and giggle very much. I would ask her how she was so lucky to have become such a famous singer at such a young age. Becoming famous like her at such an early age enables her to become a role model, or even an idol, to many people. Her ambition and strength also inspire me. She never gives up, not even when a large percentage of the world calls her a poser. She stays true to herself, and does not allow anyone to affect her decisions or self-esteem. Avril should have the name power; a power that represents what Avril influences me with.
