Sony Mavica digital cameras save images in the JPEG (JFIF) format directly to a 3.5-inch 2HD MS-DOS formatted disk. The Mavica digital camera takes approximately 30 images at 640 X 480, 10 at 1024 X 768, 6 at 1280 X 1104, or 5 at 1472 X 1104. The camera has a 3X optical zoom and a 6X precision digital zoom lens with an illuminated LCD viewing screen. It also has built in red eye reduction with the Intelligent Flash. This camera is perfect for schools and the images can easily be used in powerpoint presentations or on webpages.
